Campsite Rules

HOLIDAY BEHAVIOUR STANDARDS AND TERMINATION

By making a booking with us you have entered a contract in which you undertake, on behalf of yourself and the people in your party (including children), to adopt the following standards of behaviour:

To act in a courteous and considerate manner towards us, our staff and other guests.

To supervise children and understand that the safety of children is the responsibility of their parents/guardians.

You further agree that you will not:

- create any undue noise or disturbance.

- use offensive language.

- commit any criminal offence at the campsite or undertake any criminal activity.

- commit any acts of vandalism or nuisance.

- keep or carry any firearm or any other weapon at the campsite.

- use any unlawful drugs.

After 10pm please respect your fellow guests by keeping noise to an absolute minimum. Quiet hours are from 11.00pm until 7.00am.

If a member of staff needs to ask you to modify your behaviour or actions, then you do so without argument.

In the interests of all visitors, we reserve the right to refuse to hand over any pitch or the static caravan to any person or groups of persons at our discretion. In such cases, all site fees paid will be refunded in full but that will be the extent of our liability.

If, in our opinion, any person is not suitable to continue the holiday because of unreasonable behaviour, damage to property or annoyance to other holidaymakers, we reserve the right to exclude the holiday party from the campsite. In this event, the hirer shall remain liable for the hire price and no refund shall be due. The hirer shall remain liable for any damage caused to property.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

We take the well being and safety of our guests very seriously and we ask that you comply with the following:

DRIVERS  - The speed limit on the park is strictly 5 mph. This applies to both the track and the field.

All vehicles must conform to the Road Traffic Act and have current tax, MOT and insurance.

All drivers must hold a valid licence.

CAMPFIRES/BARBECUES/FIREPITS

Camp fires and ground level barbecues are not permitted, except in the designated fire pit area . Raised Barbecues and Firepits must be kept off the grass, well away from tents and vehicles and a minimum of 3m from hedges and fences.
We only allow charcoal and seasoned/kiln dried wood to be burnt on site.

Blocks are provided to put under disposable barbecues to avoid them scorching the grass - please ensure that you return them after use.

We are mindful of the safety of our customers and their equipment and will ask that a barbecue/firepit is re-sited or extinguished if we believe it to be a danger or nuisance.
All fires and barbecues must be extinguished by 11pm.

Ash and coals must NEVER be tipped into hedges or onto pitches. A steel bin for ash is provided.

Barbecues should never be taken into a tent, caravan awning etc. due to the danger from Carbon Monoxide poisoning.

KITES

No Kite flying is permitted in the top field because of overhead power lines.  The larger fields are, however, excellent for kite flying.

DOGS

If you bring your dog with you when you stay with us we ask that you:

Keep the dog on a lead on the site at all times.

Always clean up after your dog.  A bin for waste is provided in the dog walking area

Exercise the dog off site or in the designated dog exercise area- 11 acres adjacent to the campsite.

Do not leave your dog unattended at any time.

We reserve the right to require that the owner removes their dog, or any other pet, from the campsite if we believe it to be a nuisance or danger to other guests.

GENERAL

Cutting or damaging trees and other vegetation is strictly prohibited.

The use of generators is not permitted.

No flying of drones or other radio controlled devices is permitted in any of our fields.

Electric scooters must not be used anywhere on the campsite

All units using electricity or on a pitch supplied with an electric hook up, must pay for the hook up supply- no sharing of supply is permitted.
All cables connecting to the hook-up units must be suitable for outdoor connection.
At this time we have no facility for recharging electric vehicles. They must not be connected to campsite hook ups.

The information supplied on the Booking Form will be stored on computer for administrative purposes only. Under no circumstances will this information be provided to a third party unless we are required to do so by law.

PITCHES AND ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE

All of our pitches are generously sized. Your unit must be positioned within your allocated pitch, allowing a 3m firebreak to the next pitch.

Should your unit be extra large please let us know so that we give you an appropriate space.

Please arrive no earlier than 12pm, unless by prior arrangement, as your pitch may not be available before this time.  Latest arrival time is 8pm. If we have not heard from you within 12 hours of your expected arrival we reserve the right to re-let your pitch.

All pitches must be vacated by 12pm on the day of your departure otherwise an additional night's pitch fee may be charged. If you wish to stay longer then please first check with a member of staff that your pitch is not booked.

Every endeavour will be made to allocate guests to the pitch of their choice, however, it must be clearly understood that acceptance of a booking is not conditional on the allocation of a particular pitch.

Often campers are able to choose their pitch, but if it is busy then pitches may be allocated. If this is the case your pitch number and directions to it will be confirmed on arrival. If you are in any doubt whether you are on the right pitch please check with a member of staff. Any guest on the wrong pitch may be required to move.

Maximum length of stay is 28 days, but if you are staying beyond 14 days, you may be asked to move your unit to avoid long term damage to the grass pitch.

We reserve the right to remove and dispose of any property left on the campsite, where the pitch has not been paid for in advance or where the guest has been asked to vacate the pitch.

RULE CHANGES

We reserve the right to amend the rules at any time.

LIABILITY

We shall not be liable for the death or injury of any person howsoever caused, illness, inconvenience or misadventure.

Your vehicles, their contents and accessories, your luggage and personal belongings are left entirely at your own risk. We will not be held responsible for any loss of or damage to or theft of property including vehicles and boats.

COMPLAINTS and PROBLEMS

If you have a complaint or problem during your holiday please raise it with us immediately so that we can sort it out before it spoils your holiday.
